Romania
I came across this mother and son, cutting an impossibly huge log for firewood with a two man saw, while driving a backroad in Transylvania. Seeing this picture now once again reminds me how trivial so many of our modern inconveniences seem in comparison to the daily hardships these folks face. Transylvania, Romania 1987
